So, I ventured out for the first time the other day with all three kids. Granted it was only to the doctors office to see Ella's pulmonologist, but nevertheless, it still required me to load up all three kids and get all three kids out. So, I got to test out my new double stroller!
Anyway, walking through the halls of this very big building got us a lot of stares, comments, and questions. Now, I understand this is going to be my new normal. I am sure I will get lots of questions and comments when we are out in public. It doesn't bother me because I understand people are naturally curious. It doesn't even bother me when they say things like "better you than me" because I know they just don't understand how wonderful this life is for me.
So, that being said. I am opening up the floor for questions!!! I know you all have questions about twin raising or raising three little ones under 3 in general, so here is your chance. You can ask anything. Leave a comment below and I'll answer them all in another post. What have you been dying to ask me?...

I wanted twins when I was doing fertility treatments, but after being pregnant with ONE and then having ONE baby, and I am praying I don't have twins next time around. I've always wanted 3 or 4 kids, but I'd like them separately. I am very afraid of having twins when I already HAVE a child, so your situation freaks me out a bit! I mean that in the nicest way possible:)
I'm curious how breastfeeding is going! I have a 10.5 month old and he's never had a bottle in his life, and I hope to be able to breastfeed exclusively with all my kids (another reason I don't want twins next time around). So I wonder how that whole thing is going.
And how much sleep you get. And how the twins are sleeping.
My mom had 4 kids all 4 and under, and she acts like it was no big deal. But it MUST be! I think she has selective amnesia.
What's your favorite time of the day and what is your least favorite time of the day with your 3 babies?
I have triplets who are currently 18 months. I LOVE every minute with them. I get a ton of comments and questions too and you're absolutely right...it shouldn't bother you if you are loving your life as a mommy! I get, "better you than me," "triple the trouble," "you must have your hands full," "wow, are they all yours?" BUT my favorite comments come from the positive thinking group of people..."you've been SO blessed." And yes, I have =)
i have a few questions....
1. when do YOU sleep?
2. how in the world do you look so good after having twins? :)
3. do you think having twins would have been easier/harder if they were your first babies or do you think it made a difference having ella first? (besides the obvious tough times of having to leave ella when you were in the hospital)
4. do you still desire to be a mother of 4 like it says in your sidebar?
thanks for answering! :)
I have five kids 7 and under. 11 month old twin girls. The first time I took them out of the house I took them to my sons preschool to drop him off. On the way up to the school I had the double stroller, my 2 year old and my then 5 year old. I looked to my left and a man had a camera out of his car taking my picture!!! Yup, jerky. I looked at him fummy and he told me that he wanted to get a picture of me so that he can show his daugther that raising her one child isn't diffucult. What a moron. Anyway, can you imagine being his daughter? I know that where ever I go I will get comments and looks but I LOVE my life. Here's to large families and twins!!
Fun!! I was just thinking of doing a Q&A post too!!
I was wondering if you twins were conceived with fertility assistance?
By the way - I used to HATE when people asked me that when I was pregnant, so it cracks me up a bit that I am asking you now! But I am just being curious =). And did you use fertility assistance to conceive Ella? And if so, will you again if you desire another pregnancy?
